Sean Murphy-Bunting, President
NFL CB Sean Murphy-Bunting has made a name for himself on and off the field as a charismatic, hard-working, fun-loving, fashion-forward, and charitable young man. Despite his athletic success and impressive title – Superbowl Champion, Murphy-Bunting maintains an underdog mentality and works hard to positively represent himself, his family, and his community. Not only is it Murphy-Bunting’s goal to WIN on the football field, but he aspires to WIN in the “Game of Life”.
Being a successful jock is not just defined by having achieved a high level of accomplishment in a specific sport. It also involves giving and doing one’s best, which requires hard work, commitment, dedication, rising above any defeats and using them as motivation to continue striving to achieve one’s goal. Furthermore, it’s about believing in yourself even when others don’t see your potential. It has everything to do with training your mind to be great, with mental toughness being an important ingredient to success. It’s also about being a positive role model on and off the field. Sean Murphy-Bunting exemplifies all that and more. His character and desire to be great represents a true Successful Jock.
Murphy-Bunting devotes much of his free time doing community work with his mother Kim Murphy. As President aka “Team Captain” of Successful Jocks, Murphy-Bunting serves as a role model and ambassador for the organization. When Sean is not on the football field, out in the community or gaming, you can find him in front of a camera, as his other interest is modeling and acting.

Kim Murphy, Founder and CED
Kim Murphy is a woman of many roles – Mother, Licensed Professional Counselor, Founder and Chief Executive Director, Educator, Inspirational speaker. But her true passion is being a proud mom to her four amazing sons. She devotes everything she has toward helping them and many others become champion men. Additionally, her favorite role is being a manager (aka “MaMAger”) to her son Sean, overseeing his personal and professional business affairs.
Kim’s educational background – a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, a Master’s degree in Counseling – and her personal relationships with student and professional athletes, parents, and coaches, put her in a unique position to share her Playbook through Successful Jocks. Being passionate about working with Jocks and a strong advocate for their overall well-being inspired Kim to warmly accept the position of Chief Executive Director. The combination of her willingness to be of service and her ability to guide and encourage others resulted in her becoming a vital asset to their success. She is affectionally known to many as Mama Kim, aka “Team Mama”.
Kim has a compassionate heart and a genuine desire to help others. She takes joy in being immersed in her community and surrounded by people who are dedicated to making the world better. When not working with her son Sean on their own philanthropic endeavors, you can also find Kim volunteering at churches and schools, or supporting other community outreach activities. Kim believes that success is not measured by prowess, fame or riches but that success comes from the amount of positive impact you have with people and the community.
In her spare time, Kim enjoys the outdoors, traveling the world, attending sporting events and spending quality time with her family.
